Caprice, (of humorous or capricious character) a 35 voice treble choir, is the advanced tour ensemble of the San Diego
North Coast Singers. The group is known for its warm tone and joyous spirit. Admittance is by audition. Caprice performs repertoire
in many languages and in three and four part harmony. Members must have basic music literacy skills and will continually study
sight singing and musicianship skills. They have performed in festivals and conferences throughout Southern California and
have appeared with the La Jolla Symphony & Chorus at UCSD and with the San Diego Symphony at Copley Symphony Hall. Performance
tours include New York City (Cathedral of St. John the Divine), Italy (Palm Sunday Mass at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome),
Austria (Salzburg Dom and Vienna Votivkirche) and Prague (St. Nicholas Church).
